Elle Anders is a consummate creative. Whether she is exploring the world through sight, sound or symbiosis, she is always tuning in to the patterns around her. Elle seeks to create beauty and joy by up-leveling the vibrational frequency of the world around her either through song, art, or empowering others to create.
Elle has been an intermediate school art teacher for the past 10 years. In this capacity she introduces young people to the possibilities of creation. Seeing the world as her canvas, Elle created Leela Creative, an enterprise through which she expresses her visual and performing art through graphic design, fine arts, jewelry, and vocal performance. Elle is also a member of the Houston Symphony Chorus and was selected as part of a special ensemble that accompanied the Houston Symphony Orchestra to Carnegie Hall where it premiered, “The Planets: An HD Odyssey.”
Her path of internal exploration led her to study yoga in-depth, which has given rise to a keen awareness of the beauty in the everyday experience. Already appreciative of the beauty in the movement of others, Elle discovered a whole new canvas in the beauty of movement within herself through pole fitness. Elle immediately connected the patterns of physical alignment she had learned through yoga to pole and discovered a new vehicle of artistic expression with the strength and fluidity of her own body. Now a passionate proponent for understanding and sharing pole as a healing modality, Elle fuses each pole class with Yogic principles. Elle presented a workshop entitled, “Pole Play: Stripping Away Illusions” accompanied by a 6 week series dealing with the issues surrounding pole dance. Currently finishing her RYT 500 level certification, Elle teaches both yoga and pole classes at Yoga Rasa/Lotus Moves in Houston where she studies under Tracie Brace, ERYT500.
