Jeni is a Reiki practitioner and Master, having learned the Usui system of Reiki in New Mexico under her Master, Paula Terrero. She has 20 years experience as a health educator, health program administrator and community organizer and holds a degree in Public Health focused on Advocacy and Social Change from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She currently resides in Albuquerque, NM, and has developed the Cancer Care Reiki program to help relieve the burden of medical care for patients and their families in New Mexico. She is also a founding member of the Sacred Spring Reiki Collective, whose focus is to teach and to promote the multi-practitioner Reiki model in a variety of community settings to integrate Reiki as an intervention to treat substance abuse, chronic illness and acute health crises. She has an active private Reiki and medical intuitive practice, acting as a consultant for physicians on complex cases and working with individuals in person or by telephone. Many of her clients wish to maintain their well-being or to enhance their sense of spiritual connectedness; most seek her guidance in addressing the effects of chronic pain; cancer; insomnia; anxiety; depression; heart disease; infectious disease; bipolar disorder; PTSD and auto-immune disorders. Her approach is to relieve suffering, enhance awareness, and empower clients with tools of self-healing, useful both in disease prevention and in support of conventional medical treatment. Along with her comadres in the Sacred Spring Reiki Collective, she offer compassionate end of life care, peace of mind, and guidance for patients, families and caregivers.
