Etan Boritzer
Insight Meditation Yoga Founder/Yoga Teacher
Venice, California
Etan Boritzer began teaching yoga in New York City in 1971 after returning from 90 days training at Gitananda Ashram in Pondicherry, South India. He is a caring and respected teacher with regular classes in Los Angeles (including Bryan Kest Power Yoga Studios) and guest-teaching nationally and internationally. Etan teaches a mixed levels meditation-infused slow vinyasa class. This practice goes deep into asanas while at the same time gently opening the practitioner's psycho-physical self with the intention to free oneself from the habitual field of personal reactions (samskaras). Etan is also a scholar and national speaker on the teachings of the historical Buddha. He is the best selling children’s book author of 'What is God?' and 12 other books in the popular 'What is?' series, now translated into 15 languages. He will also be signing books at a vendor's table at the conference.
