Catherine discovered yoga when her roommate insisted that she give it a try. Catherine was reluctant at first, but after that first class she was hooked! She spent the next few years thoroughly exploring several styles of yoga, completing yoga teacher trainings as well as a month-long yoga immersion in India, and began teaching in 2001.

While living in Boston, she attended her first Forrest Yoga class with Ana Forrest. She immediately fell in love with the powerful and healing teachings of Forrest Yoga. Since then, Catherine has immersed herself in Forrest Yoga and the global Forrest Yoga community. She has been lead assistant to Ana Forrest in several teacher trainings, is one of the Forrest Yoga Mentor Guardians, and is the Forrest Yoga Teacher Liaison. Catherine has also been authorized by Ana Forrest to teach the 200-hour Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training and the 9-day Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training.

She continues her advanced yoga studies under the tutelage of her beloved canine and feline companions. When not assisting Ana or teaching in Houston, she leads teacher trainings and workshops across the country.
